At Vases d'Honneur Edmonton, our small groups, called Family of Honor, are where deep, meaningful connections are built within our church community. In these groups, we gather in smaller settings to strengthen our relationships with Christ and each other, just as the early church did.
Why Join a Family of Honor Group?
Biblical Foundation
Jesus Himself formed a small group of 12 disciples to live, learn, and grow together. In Acts, the early church met both in large gatherings and in small homes (Acts 5:42). Following this model, we believe spiritual growth happens best in close, supportive communities.
Personal Care & Support
Family of Honor groups offer a more intimate environment for prayer, study, and fellowship. You’ll receive personal care, build meaningful relationships, and find encouragement for your journey of faith.
A Place to Belong
In a large church, it’s easy to feel lost. Family of Honor ensures that everyone has a space to belong, connect, and grow. Relationships are the glue of the church. When you know others and are known, church becomes family.
Flexible & Accessible
Our groups meet in homes, offices, or even in coffee shop. They are flexible and adjust to the needs of their members. Whether you’re available weekdays, weekends, or evenings, there’s a group for you.
Grow Together in Christ
In Family of Honor, we study the Bible, pray for one another, and share life together. We believe every member plays an important role in building the body of Christ. We aim to grow larger through outreach and smaller through intimate fellowship.
